HARTFORD, Conn. — Gov. Dannel Malloy nominated his top legal adviser to the Connecticut Supreme Court Dec. 27, in a move that will make history.
Former assembly member, Andrew J. McDonald will be the first openly gay justice in the history of the state’s Supreme Court.
“In my estimation, Andrew possesses an exceptional ability to understand and analyze, research and evaluate legal issues,” Malloy said, according to the site, the Ct. Mirror.
